Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing and Screening:

• Utilise job boards, social media, networking, and referrals to identify potential candidates.
• Screen candidates by conducting interviews, assessing skills, and evaluating qualifications to determine suitability for positions.

Client Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with client companies to understand their hiring needs and requirements.
• Provide consultative advice to clients on recruitment strategies, market trends, and best practices.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring prompt and professional communication at all times.

Candidate Placement

• Match candidates with suitable job opportunities based on their skills, experience, and career goals.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients, providing feedback and guidance throughout the process.
• Negotiate offers and terms of employment on behalf of candidates, ensuring a smooth transition into their new roles.

Administrative Tasks

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate and client interactions in the recruitment database.
• Handle all necessary documentation and paperwork related to the recruitment process.
• Feedback on sales activity and sales stats to the GM on a weekly basis.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or in a similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and candidates.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess candidates and make recommendations based on client needs.
• Proficiency in using recruitment software and databases to manage candidate pipelines and track recruitment activity.

Avionics-Electronics Engineer

Responsible to: Electronics and Avionics Manager

Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Work location: Bedford / Hybrid

Role Purpose

Primarily the role will involve the design and development of embedded electronics

for unmanned air vehicles as part of a multidisciplinary team. Schematic design and

PCB layout of low voltage embedded circuits, taking a design from requirements

capture through to manufacture and test. Overseeing and assisting with system

integration, evaluation and testing.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• To develop requirements and specifications for electronic and embedded

firmware systems.

• Requirements capture and review.

• Circuit design and schematic capture.

• Multi-layer PCB layout design.

• Good understanding and experience of using or CAD or equivalent package

for schematic capture and PCB layouts.

• Interfacing with subcontractors/external design houses.

• Interfacing with external board manufacturer from quote through to board

delivery.

• Basic firmware developer skills (embedded software). Experience of

embedded programming in C would be advantageous

• Assembly and testing of prototype designs.

• Understanding of avionic sub-systems, e.g., navigation aids, RF COMMs,

GPS-denied navigation systems (e.g., Laser Gyro / MEM augmented IMU),

state estimation sensors and algorithms.

• Exposure to previous ‘sensor fusion’ implementations.

• Basic understanding of imagery/signal processing techniques.

• Participate and where necessary lead on design reviews with internal and

external clients.

PCB Inspector

 

Our client is a successful Electronics Manufacturing company based in Bridgwater, Somerset and we are looking to appoint a third PCB Inspector

The PCB Inspector will be required to visually inspect assembled PCB's and Electronic Assemblies to ensure that they meet quality standards and our customers requirement

Duties/tasks will include.

• Inspect PCBs to IPC-A-610, class 3 to ensure quality of product using the latest magnification equipment, AOI & Xray
• Liaise with Production
• Assist and support Production Technicians by discussing faults and findings to include Internal Training of the Team
• Manage and resolve inspection queries and raising NCR’s as applicable
• Monitor build, quality and report quality issues as necessary.
• Action rework as necessary

PCB Inspector - other skills/knowledge required.

• Understand component identification codes such as resistors, capacitors and ICs
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOM)
• Previous inspection and assembly experience to IPC-A-610 class 2 minimum desirable

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role will primarily carry out maintenance, reactive response and commissioning activity within our client portfolio. This will include systems such as fire alarms, fire extinguishers, security systems, door access, CCTV and various other equipment. 

 

Our engineers provide an excellent service to our clients which include 

• Servicing and maintaining the equipment onsite whilst adhering to the core values of our client. 

• Accurate reporting and escalation of works where required. 

• As part of our excellent service offering, you will be required as part of your normal duties to be ‘on call’ to provide out-of-hours cover to deal with emergencies. 

 

Requirements 

• Field based experience in commissioning, fault finding, repairs and maintenance across the full range of fire & security systems. 

• Due to the nature of our business and the requirements of our customers, you will be required to satisfactorily complete Security Screening to British Standard (BS7858). 

• A full clean driving licence.

Job Summary

Due to expansion and continual growth, we are looking for two more Air Conditioning Engineers to join our family-owned company based in Leicester.

We spend 95% of our time working within Leicestershire, the rest within the East Midlands.

This is an Installation role for both Split and VRF systems in both Commercial and Domestic environments.

Monday to Friday working either 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm (client dependent).

Optional Saturday work is available at x1.5 overtime rate.

98% of our customers are based within Leicestershire, so ideally you need to be within 30 mins of Leicestershire too.

No on-call, no out of hours, no overnight stays, no long travel to site.

Requirements

You will have at least 4 Years experience of Installing Air conditioning systems.

Any Servicing, Diagnostic or Repairing experience would be useful, but not essential.

Current F-gas certificate is essential. Pasma, Ipaf qualification desirable.

You must have a UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points).

You must have a clear DBS record.

You will be required to fill-in forms and maintain accurate records.

You will be conscientious, hard-working, reliable and maintain a professional manner.

You will be confident to work under your own initiative and equally as part of a small, helpful and friendly team.
