Our customer is a fast growing and successful electronic manufacturing partner based in York. They supply industries such as automotive, defence, medical and commercial industries. Due to continued growth the successful candidate will be responsible for Soldering of electronic products in accordance with work instructions, production schedule and quality requirements

Main duties:

• Assembly of electronic products in accordance with work instructions, production schedule and quality requirements
• Hand soldering of electronic components onto PCBA's to IPC-A-610 standards
• Operation of production and inspection equipment
• Complete Production and inspection equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Compliance with ESD protection requirements

Person Specification:

• Ability to operate, at pace, to a high degree of accuracy and diligence is essential
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Capable of working to written instructions & diagrams
• Will need to be flexible with the demands of the business
• Previous experience in electronics is desirable but full training will be provided
