Fire and Security Engineer X 2
£35,000 - £60,000 OTE

To achieve Excellence the Fire and Security Engineer will need to lead on technical Installation and Maintenance ensuring we deliver to all current standards whilst exceeding our customer expectations in Service delivery. Achieving this will require outstanding commitment to our Company values as well as providing outstanding Leadership, technical advice and guidance to other Engineers, Contractors, Apprentices and Designers across all Fire and Security disciplines.
Candidate Experience
Install, Maintain and Commission the full range of Fire and Security services at all levels of complexity to a wide range of clients. Services to include, addressable Fire Systems, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control as well as other services as required by our clients
Work independently co-coordinating efforts of other staff and contractors as and when required.
Demonstrate excellent problem solving, generally and across all Technical disciplines, and have excellent rapport with our Customers.
Liaison with the clients at all levels, keeping customers updated and answering any queries promptly and professionally.
Apply expert knowledge in a range of technical situations, making personal judgments on how to undertake work to achieve quality, cost and time objectives.
Work flexibly to meet the needs of the client and timescales for delivery of the installation.
Ensure that all work completed fully conforms to relevant company, customer and legal standards.
Lead by example, acting as an ambassador for the company, demonstrating company values at all times
What technical knowledge, skills and experience is essential in this role?
Essential understanding and experience of installing, Maintaining and commissioning complex Fire, Intruder, CCTV and Access control systems
Track record of project managing/delivering high quality installations, roll out programs and/or Maintenance programs across multiple systems/sites would be beneficial
Experience in managing relationships with customers is vital. Experience is required in liaising with customers to ensure they are kept fully informed at all stages.
Experience in motivating staff, providing encouragement, guidance, advice and information improving the effectiveness of the team.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
- History of being highly self-motivated and Driven to deliver the best possible service to all
customers
- Unit 5 FIA Qualification
- Experience of Security systems; Intruder, CCTV and Access Control
- Willingness to be part of a call out team on a rota
