Job Description
As a Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances, including boilers, cookers, and heating systems.
Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Perform plumbing tasks as required in conjunction with gas installations.
Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for assembly and repairs.
Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or concerns to management.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Competence in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Certification in gas safety (e.g., ACS certification) is preferred but not mandatory.
