Job Title: Service/Maintenance AV Engineer

Location: Barnes, London

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Description: A skilled and proactive Service/Maintenance AV Engineer is sought to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs on audio-visual systems across residential properties. This role is vital in ensuring that all AV equipment operates efficiently and meets the highest standards of quality for residents.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of audio-visual systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults in audio, video, and control systems.
• Carry out emergency repairs and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Collaborate with contractors and external service providers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the installation of new AV equipment and systems as required.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and address their AV concerns effectively.
• Support the management team in identifying areas for improvement in AV maintenance practices.

 

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in audio-visual technology, electronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a service or maintenance AV engineering role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
